Leapforce Review - Work From Home

Work from the Comfort of Your Home with Leapforce

There are many people interested in finding out about Leapforce and the legitimacy of this work from home company.  Searching for reviews on Leapforce often result in a handful of negative reviews from disgruntled, former employees who give a less than desirable impression and that leads to confusion and skepticism.  I'd like to give my review of Leapforce and working from home because quite frankly--I love it!.

What's it About?

In a nutshell, Leapforce provides services to search engines that will bring the best search engine results possible.  Leapforce hires educated individuals who are interested in working a flexible, self-made schedule evaluating search engines.  Employees need to be well-organized and efficient in managing time--no different than any employer desires to find in their work-force.  In order to work for Leapforce, you need to submit your resume and if they are interested, Leapforce requires you to take an entrance exam to find out if the job is a right fit for you.  Of course, you are not paid for the time this takes.  The time spent training is not paid; however, in my opinion, this is well worth it in order to have a job with the flexibility and pay that this provides.  I view it like going to college before you begin your career only you're talking a couple of hours instead of years!

Once hired, you will receive an email with your contract and other information that will need to be signed electronically.  Contracts are renewed every 6 months.  After this is taken care of, you can begin working.  You will be assigned various tasks rating the quality of webpages and sites online, as well as evaluating the quality of search engines.  You can work as much or as little as you'd like and track your time accordingly.  Some projects require extra testing to make sure you are a good fit for the tasks.  Leapforce assigns all tasks an "Estimated Amount of Time" that each task will take and this is what you aim for while working.  While at times the tasks are tedious to the point you want to pull your hair out, other times it can be quite interesting and fun.  It is work...after all...it can't be all fun!  Leapforce does expect you to maintain high quality work.  To do this you need to review the guidelines, do your research, ask questions--everything any other employer would expect.  People have been let go for low quality work (quite often the people who post negative reviews online), but this too is no different from a regular employer.

How do I get Paid?

While working for Leapforce, employees track their time by using the online invoice.  Leapforce pays employees monthly so at the end of the month, you simply submit your invoice and then once approved, your pay check is paid via direct deposit.  (Although this makes some people nervous, it really is the most convenient way to get paid!)

If it's so Great, Why the Negative Reviews from Some People?

Unrealistic expectations....
This is a real job with real work and real pay so you do have to put time and effort into what you're doing, if you want to stick around.  Quite often, the negative feedback is coming from former employees who didn't like having to put time into learning the job by reading guidelines and putting effort into improving quality.  I've also seen people complain because the job requires "to the minute tracking."  Yes, you only get paid for the time you work!  Certainly this job isn't right for everyone, but having realistic expectations going into it will make a difference.  Lastly, work from home scams have given the industry a bad rap.  People are understandably cautious when it comes to this but Leapforce truly is a good company that upholds high standards.

Is it Worth It?

The answer is YES!  I couldn't be happier being able to work from home and make my own schedule.  Being able to work from home and not having to put the kids in daycare is priceless.  As with all new jobs, there are challenges with learning how things work and becoming familiar with how to do your job, but with patience and high standards this isn't difficult.  If you'd like a good paying job where you can work from home and set your own schedule, Leapforce may be just what you're looking for!
